The Team at E&C is stoked to bring you the latest and greatest Bolt on Brushless motor for the Razor MX500, MX650, SX500 & RSF Chassis! This Motor was built on the foundation of the incredible power of the EC4P but with some very critical changes that make it a whole new animal.
The EC5P rotor is rocking a V magnet design we have nearly doubled the amount of magnet material in the rotor; the V configuration also boasts better efficiency and higher RPM limit & power. Featuring a 17mm splined shaft with a sprocket retention nut to boot, you can be confident the 5P can handle any of the abuse a Moto Head can throw at it.
The EC5P is NOT like the others! Using the highest grade materials, our motors are able to withstand higher temps than others. The EC5P also has the highest surface area of any motor on the market by nearly double which means much better heat dissipation. If the surface area is not enough cooling for your use case, we have built-in fan mounts on top and bottom to help move that air over those fins which greatly increases their effectiveness

GEARING
1:7 to 1:5 Ratio Recommended for 10 inch rear wheel only.
1:8 to 1:6.5 Ratio Recommended for 12 inch rear wheel only.
The motor comes with 10t #35 sprocket installed, you must have a #35 chain kit to run the EC5P motor.
IMPORTANT
- Kelly KVD Not Recommended for EC5P; for Kelly KVD controllers we recommend EC4P instead.
- Going outside of the ratios listed above will cause heating and premature failure! Overheating is NOT covered by E&C warranty.
